I still don't understand, how people watch one piece weekly
I take 6-9 months break to let episodes build up, then binge watch them
Yeah, Its honestly not worth watching on a weekly basis. I took a couple of months off and later watched the whole cake island arc. It was great, but its crazy the amount of footage you can skip per episode, when you are watching back to back.
Yeah I stopped watching at ep 1056 and now I'm back after piling up eps for months, I need to catch up from here to all the way upto ep 1090, it reminds me of the time when I first started watching One Piece, binging eps back to back got it's own fun tbh.
For real. It's the best way to experience it. I started when they were in the 300s, and those first 300 plus episodes were glorious. I've taken 2 other breaks (possibly more, im old lol), I think one was for cake island, and the other around mid wano. It really is better to watch it that way. I'll probably take a break at some point during this new Arc. Most likely when the story starts slowing down.
Yeah that's the best way to experience this anime lol.
basically 2-5 minute episodes for me, since you can skip almost everything
Usually I do it too when the pacing becomes too trash. After Dressrosa I just read the entire Whole Cake arc through the manga because at least the OP manga has good pacing.
But sometimes the anime does have moments which make it worth to wait a week for.
habit
I have something to look forward to every week. My motivation to pull through.
Bingewatching 1 whole series isn't my thing. I like to switch anime series as much as possible and watch a lot at the same time instead of.
Yeah with this pace theres no reason to watch it weekly
im on a break rn lol, i'll wait until
That won't happen till July/August as far as I know
Same here. I stopped when they just entered Onigashima. Now I'm just starting itt again since I'm seeing a lot of spoilers on social media so better watch it now before I got spoiled again...
I'm stopping after wano. Will pick up when egghead is half way through
Same. I also take break and then binge watch.
same, this is going to be the first time that i am up to date because of gear 5
same same - my last break was a year. I try to stay 10 episodes behind. Only reason Im watchin now is because of the July 29 (Aug 6) ep
Not healthy.
Here waking up that early is basically the "healthiest" thing one can do to please their parents :/
How is that not healthy? Elaborate me..
After the episode I take a walk in the park, get breakfast somewhere and enjoy the music in the morning before getting myself to work.
That's such a healthy habit. I wish I could wake up early in the morning, it's really difficult for me. But I'm trying.
Btw, Keep it up!
health didn't bother me anyway.
I watch it at 12 am of sunday night in that case we indians are also lucky 😁
i get it at Saturday night too in Jamaica
ayy! yh One Piece is always reliable! 💪
that's cool dude!
Exactly! It's always there and such a good motivation to pull through the week.
At least you don't need pre-workout after watching entire episode filled with muscles
Man.. Tell me about it! XD
been doing this since fishman island arc
Keep rockin', dude!
omg lol, I'll pray for you. I should have taken a break mid way through this arc, but now I feel like we are reaching the end so it might not be as worth it
To Be Continued... Episode 74890 Luffy finally defeated Kaido!!
nah, it will not take that long. actually the anime will be finished pretty "soon". currently the story is about at 75%. the anime will end in 2024 or 2025.
You underestimate how fast time flies. Wano saga started with Punk Hazard and ends with Onigashima, in the manga it took 10 years. The final saga will be even longer!
That time is for the manga.... you do realise that the anime is like 50 chapters behind and is taking more than one episode per chapter right? Oda's timing is never reliable (he said that one piece should have only taken 5 years for example) and it is always for the manga, no one believe the manga will end by 2025, but will probably end sometime around 2027 - 2030, let alone the anime. The anime will take 10 - 15 years depending on how much they draw out and if they add more filler
2-3 years is very less time. I think it will be ending in yr 2027-2028. If we take into account 1 episode/week then it is 52 episodes/year.
3x52=156 episodes which isn't nearly enough for One Piece to end.
it took 25 years for 1100 episodes which would be 75%
That means one piece is getting around 1400-1500 episodes episodes, lets go with 1400 which would be quickest it means we have another 300 episodes, there are 54 weeks a year which we at most get 54 episodes a year which doesn't happen because there are postpones sometimes so lets say 50, to get 300 episodes we need another 6 years
the date oda says always changes. final saga seems near but with the issues unanswered it won't be enough if it ends in 2 years.
And bro... Wano arc's been going on for "6 years"... I'm sure it will not end in 2024 or 2025.
75% story, fillers not included lol.
bull.
naruto was done for over a year before the anime stopped doing infinite filler no jutsu
2025 most likley
Sanji was pretty cool today.
He is always cool
another rare W for Sanji fans we eating surprisingly good for a arc we thought was going to be about Zoro
RIP Soba kamen, now Sanji won't have the free access to Nami Shiawase Punch
Sanji once said at thriller bark arc that he always wanted to eat Suke Suke no mi fruit, to get the ability of disappearing himself so, he can peek at women while they are bathing. Although germa's suit gave him this ability but he destroyed it. Huh it means he cant see Nami's heaven anymore.
happiness punch.
he just needs money.
Well that's why Sanji is one of the best written character. Getting over your likings is not easy
My commitment to One Piece?
I wake up every Sunday at 4:30(AM) to watch the latest episode.
America is lucky to get it on a Saturday night..!
